As we understood that; this is the temple, the house of whisky.La Maison Du Whisky has one of the biggest , luxury and rare whisky collection in the world.
There are 3 LMDW shops in Paris and 1 LMDW shop locates in Singapore.On the other hand LMDW shop which i have visited locates close to Madeliene Subway Station.There are many many whisky shop in Europe, Uk and Usa.I can clearly say that LMDW shop has one of the rarest, limited edition expressions i have only seen on auctions and whisky web sites.On the middle part of the shop the most rare and luxury expressions located,back side Bourbons,Japanese Whiskies following each other.

And then Lovely Irish Whiskeys were marvelous.I dreamed to create a Spot Vertical Whisky Tasting Line up, also there were amazing expressions from Kavalan Solist Range : Manzanilla,Muscat,Amontillado,Fino,Vino Barrique and New Relase; Triple Sherry Cask.

Gordon & Mc phail Prive Collection Range was lovely on the photos but believe me on first sight and when you touch that bottle you feel you hold the World Cup in your hand.

We met Florian in the shop, the manager of the LMDW.We had amazing chat with him.
After a while we had a suprise to me; Ta Taaaa !!!

Glenfarclas Family Cask Range ; but the biggest collection i have ever seen.We passed the basements while the lights of the family cask expressions like they said hi to me at the same time.
Then we passed a room it was regtangular shape ; 3 side stages of amazing expressions located ; 1 side was cool antique showcase and there are rare expressions such as Mortlach 50.
I realise that whisky lovers speaks another language i call it :
” Whisky-ish ” .

Only whisky lovers can understand this language.It is similar to Medical English or Engineer English.There are too many technic words, there are English but the meanings are not the ordinary English.Also there are too many Scottish Gaelic words to figure it out in Whisky Terminology.

After a long chat with Florian ; pity that we could not record that chat maybe we could share it as a podcast or a video in You Tube but some moments i really want to only ENJOY.I do not want to spend time for more photos,videos,etc.

Some moments should stay in mind and you live it,feel it,enjoy it.I will fall out in one day in an article,in a lovely meeting as a perfect memory.

Florian’s suprises did not finised yet.We entered the most amazing ambient whisky room in my life.I have never seen in my life like that.
It was really a ” MAN’S CAVE ”. Not only a hobby room.The roof was made up of the cave rocks.Also the temperature was cool.I felt me like i was in a real cave.

The had designed for Islay therefore Florian called the MAN’S CAVE
as; ISLAY ROOM.Perfect drams were waiting us to have a wee tasting.
The collection was perfect and we had selected; Kilchoman French Inspiration 1 & 2 and Signatory Vintage Caol Ila 2010 / 11 Years old.

My favorite expression was ; Signatory Vintage Caol Ila 2010 / 11 Years old > Kilchoman French Inspiration 2>Kilchoman French Inspiration 1.

Signatory Vintage Caol Ila 2010 / 11 Years old was very balanced.We can tag this expression for what is a balanced whisky ? lessons in whisky education.On the othe hand; the new trend of whisky industry is Peat & Sherry combination.For my opinion the terminology of cocktails and creating a whisky expression’s secret is BALANCE.None of the compunds would not move forward on to others.

Unless the balance would not be achived.French Inspiraiton 2 had more yellow fruity notes nose & palate as a reason of bourbon & oloroso & sauternes wine cask maturation.For Inspiration 1 was matured in bourbon & oloroso & calvados casks.It was my first experience to taste with a whisky expression which had a relation with Calvados Cask but i can clearly say that it was not for my style.
